SpeechMadeSimple is a 20-30 hour persuasive presentation course designed for university and adult ESL/EFL students. It consists of three parts: a book, a detailed teachers' guide, and this website filled with multimedia materials, student portfolios and class groups. Taken together these elements create a potent package for student change.

We understand how your students learn.
While excellent books on presenting exist, they are largely designed for an English speaking audience. ESL/EFL textbooks currently on the market tend to survey types of speeches in a general manner, or get bogged down in the details of speech writing rather than focusing on the key issues: public speaking, how to get over the fear of it, and how to really learn to be a better communicator.
SpeechMadeSimple focuses on creating a low anxiety, high motivation framework that revolves around the core areas of speech and enables students to continue learning beyond the confines of the course and classroom.
